Resume Cover Letter Help - Part 4

The next Thursday I got a call from my niece. She was very bubbling that day and she said she wanted to bring Sandra back that weekend and show me something.

"What is it?" I asked with growing curiosity.

"No, Aunt Cyn, I can't tell you over the phone... I have to show you."

"Can't you give me a hint?"

Now, my niece had always liked surprises so this was right step in character but I knew somehow this would be significant.

My mind went wild trying to figure out what it could be but I had to wait until Friday. Just before diner, my niece and Sandra showed up. She headed straight for the kitchen table and plugged in her laptop.

"Come see Aunt Cyn... you've just got to see this."

The software was called, "Amazing Cover Letter Creator." They began to tell me the story of how a friend of theirs had bought this software over the internet, used it, and landed her dream job the very next week.

I thought, oh yeah right. BUT they they began showing me how the software worked. It asks you a few questions which and they it generates a fully customized resume cover letter... AND the best part is that it generates a resume cover letter that seems to scream "HIRE ME!!!" the sales copy is so good. It wasn't like any cover letters I had ever seen in any book or any where on the net (and I did take a sneak peek at several packs of so called "professional cover letters" in anticipation of helping my niece and Sandra).

"Here test it out for yourself Aunt Cyn."

My niece moved out of the way and I sat down in front of the computer and began playing with the software. I could believe how simple it was and how every time I plugged in different information it came up with a completely new resume cover letter. I was literally like magic. I knew they had hit on something very special here.

"Let's have dinner and relax tonight and then tomorrow we'll create your cover letters."

Even though we tweaked them a tad, it only took us maybe an hour to an hour and a half the next day to create 7 custom resume cover letters for my niece and 2 for Sandra. We were all so pleased we went out for a celebratory Thai Food lunch and then for a long walk by the river.
